upgrading from microsoft xp home edition to professional

If there a particular software package I should get to
upgrade my xp hopme eiditon to the professional edition or
is it the same software used to upgrade windows 2000 to xp
professional?

You are referring to one of the many differences between Windows XP
Home and Pro.
The OP was asking about if there is a different upgrade to be used to
get to Windows XP Pro from Windows XP Home or Windows 2000.
