Upgrading from 2000 Pro to XP Home Ed.

Hi -

Question - in attempting to upgrade from 2000 Pro to XP
home, the upgrade will not load. Error message says the
program is unable to execute (from memory, not in front of
the PC at the moment). I suspect that there are files in
2000 that prevent the XP home upgrade from running. Is
this true?

You can't upgrade from W2k Pro to XP Home - only to XP Pro:

You are not allowed to upgrade from Windows 2000 professional to Windows XP
Home.
Try running the compatibility wizard to see if it tells you that.
