Win 98 has Front Page included. The XP Upgrade does not.
Will I lose Front Page when I run the upgrade? If so, is
there anything I can do to retain it? It's already paid
for but to get a new one I have to buy a stand alone copy
and do not want to do that.

Windows 98 does not include Front Page. Front Page is, and always has been,
a separate software application.

When you upgrade an installation of Windows, your software applications are
not affected, so long as they are compatible with XP. If you purchased a
recent version of Front Page, it is compatible with XP.

No, but some versions did show up with FrontPage Express. (It may have been
part of an IE update, but I do recall seeing it.)

Used it once or twice, REALLY didn't like it.... and yes, FrontPage (the
full version) is a seperate program.

No, it doesn't.

Correct. No version of Windows has ever come with Frontpage. But
the vendor you bought your Windows98 computer from may have
bundled FrontPage with it.

Upgrading should not affect any of the software (or data)
installed on your computer. However there are no guarantees, and
no matter how unlikely, it's always possible that something goes
wrong.

Another question is whether your version of Front Page is
compatible with Windows XP. To determine that, run the free
