Hello

I've upgraded my home PC from Windows 98 to XP Home Edition. Since doing so, I've been unable to browse the Internet. I've contacted by ISP (SBC Yahoo DSL) and they help me set up a new connection. When I activate the connection, I can connect OK, but when I try to surf the Net, I get error that Internet Explorer is unable to load or display the page. Anybody else have trouble with DSL connection after upgrading to XP

Thank you.

The first question I always ask is if you can ping the web sites. if not,
check the DNS settings first, or post ipconfig /all here.
or you can go to http://www.ChicagoTech.net >do-it-yourself tools to do the
troubleshooting.

Thanks for the ideas. I broke down and called MS last night. They were very helpful and fixed the problem: Zone Alarm was installed on my set. Once I removed Zone Alarm, my Internet connection worked.
