I upgraded WIndows Messenger from 4.7 to 5. The person
I'm trying to help did the same. When they ask me for
Remote assistance, I get the following error message on
my end:

The invitation from [name omitted] to start using Remote
Assistance is declined because the program is disabled or
not installed on your computer.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Remote assistance is a feature of windows XP and 2000 only....Hope yoiu both have up to date operating systems

Both systems are running Windows Xp Professional SP1 with
