i own an emachine T1360 that came with 128mb pc133 sdram. i just bought
another 128mb memory stick and i checked to make sure it is the right type
and it is. not that i've installed it when i turn my computer on it wont
boot. it doesnt show anything on my monitor and even if i take out the new
memory stick it still wont start up. ive tried everything i know but it
wont start up.

It worked before. It doesn't work now. You remove the new memory stick, to
bring it back to "before" condition. It still doesn't work.

You did something during your maintenance. Now you have to check all
connections. If that does not work, take the computer to a repair shop to be
sorted out.

I have upgraded many e-Machines with more RAM and have not had any problems.

At this point, you will have to call in someone with more experience. He
will need enough spare parts to do substitutions. He will need a V.O.M. to
look for correct voltages from the power supply. In other words, a repair
man.

Looks like you fried your motherboard.
