Upgraded from ME to XP Pro... no modem now

I just upgraded our family computer (gateway) from Me to XP pro, now when I try to connect to the internet it shows that there is no modem for my computer. My mother needed to upgrade in order to use office xp... for a class she is taking at the local college.
Any help would be great!
 
Go to the Modem manufacters website and see if they have a XP driver for the
modem. Jym

Had same problem with my buddy's HP system. Modem worked under ME and 2k.
For XP had to buy a new modem.
