Upgrade XP Home to Pro

Hello,
I purchased a Sony notebook with XP Home and want to upgrade to Pro for remote
application and monitorng on our domain. We have a site licence for Pro we
will use.
Can this be done?

Yeah you just bang the XP Pro disk in and follow the instructions :)

You may have a problem with Product Keys. I am not sure if the CD that
goes with your Site Licence one will do an upgrade, or will insist on a
clean install. The key that came with the machine will certainly only
work with its own Home CD, and the Site licence one would not work with
a retail Pro CD that does do upgrades. So you may be stuck with backing
up and a clean install
