upgrade windows xp to windows 2003

Hi,

i want to know if there is a option to upgrade from xp to server without
uninstalling xp or which is the easiest way to accomplish this?

You need to install all server products from scratch.

There is no upgrade path from a desktop OS to a server OS, you will have
to backup your files and do a clean install of W2K3 and re-install your
applications, sorry.

No, there isn't. There has never been any supported means of
"upgrading" from any Microsoft *workstation* operating system to any
Microsoft *server* operating system. There are too many fundamental
differences between the classes of OS.

Simply boot from the Server2K3 installation CD. You'll be offered
the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
