Great, so no real problem. Windows NT/2000 and XP respond to the
MoveFileEx API to move a file that is locked by adding a registry key
that processes the file move on the next reboot. This could be
upgrading an in use dll file to a newer version, or deleting temp files
as part of a cleanup process at the end of the install. The XP install
has code in it to check that registry key. If a pending file move
operation is found it will prompt you to reboot to allow the file
operation to complete. Just another check in the process to help
insure the upgrade will go as smooth as possible.
