I have 98se and want to upgrade to XPpro. I want to
format my hard drive and start fresh. i want to start
clean with new software. where do i find instructions on
how to do this? can I just command prompt format drive?
and then insert new XP CD? is it that simple? thanks

Tom, go into your bios and set it to boot from cd. Then boot from the XP cd
and follow the prompts.

It's even simpler. You don't need to format first. Just boot from
the CD and follow the prompts. It will take care of it for you.

THANKS!
