Upgrade to W2000 (from W98) - Outlook Express won't open

I have just upgraded to W2000 from W98 and Outlook Express will not open (the upgrade loaded Version 5, even though we we on Version 6 - I down loaded Version 6). The error message is as follows:
msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.... etc

I am worried that I have lost everything that was in my previous Outlook folders.

Can anyone give me some assistance
 
Try removing OE 6 at Add/Remove in your control panel. If you can see your
messages then, go to Windows Update ad download OE 6 again.
