Upgrade Movie maker 2

Problem 1
I can't get movie maker 2 upgraded. The installation
wizzard says it is succesfully installed but it isn't! It
can't be because it runs through the update procedure in a
split second! What is the problem?

Problem 2
Movie maker 1 does not work. All seems o.k., I am getting
the picture as well as the sound during set up, but if I
in the last step it says: Cannot find the recording
profile. In Dutch: opname profiel kan niet gevonden worden.
What can be this problem?
