Hello, I have upgraded from outlook express to outlook and I wanted the news
groups to be in outlook folder's, when I go to view menu, point to go to,
and click news I get taken back to outlook express.
I have checked out the help files but I can't seem to find anything, maybe I
am only having a blokes look.
I look forward to help,
Grant.

Outlook does not support NNTP (network news transfer protocol). Even if
you call News from Outlook, all that does is call Outlook Express to do
newsgroups.

It's NOT an upgrade - Outlook Express is not a "lite" version of Outlook
- the two are completely different programs
and I wanted the news

That's correct. Outlook calls OE for its News function (or whatever
default news program you have)
