Upgrade from ME to XP

I'm trying to uprade from ME to XP home,but I'm running into a little problem..no,thats a lie,its a big pain in the ass! Everything seems to go fine till after the computer restarts. The BIOS runs fine,then the Windows XP load screen,then...
the Evil Blue Screen of Death.I get a Stop Error message that says there "may"be a problem with my hard drive.But th
message is really vague and non-specific.There is an error code,and I looked for it in the microsoft knowledge base.But
can't find this exact code,I found a few that were close.Anyway here it is: 0X0000007B(0XF898563C,0XC0000034,0X000000,0X00000000) If anyone can help,I would really appreciate it

Did you run the XP Upgrade Advisor prior to install XP ? This MS kb article
