Got only the following after running the Windows XP Upgrade Advisor.

"Your computer has a mass storage device that is not supported on
Windows XP. Setup was unable to migrate the driver for this device.
You will need to provide the Manufacturer-supplied support disk for
this device during the next phase of setup."

The only mass storage device I can think of is my old internal ZIP 100
ATAPI drive. Nevetheless, after downloading the latest driver from
IOMEGA, and re-running Upgrade Advisor, I still get the same message.

Am currently running NT 4.0 SP6a, and want to intall the XP Pro
Upgrade. Should I proceed anyway, and worry about this later?

Thanks in adavnce for any help that could be provided on this.

I don't have a scsi drive. Actually I had run Upgrade Advisor a
while back without the following message.

The only thing different is the fact that the PC is now connected via
a router, whereas before it was a direct connection to the cable
modem.

Could that be it? And if so, can I safely proceed wth the XP Pro
Upgrade? (Note it's an upgrade, not a new install.)

You shouldn't be getting any messages about the router. Are you sure you
don't have some sort of card reader - like a SanDisk - attached? In
that case, just check with the mftr.'s site for updated drivers. I
wouldn't worry unduly about it - it sounds like you can go ahead with
the upgrade. Of course, back up all your data first because You Never
Know and Stuff Happens.
