Updating Outlook XP to Outlook 2003

We are a company of about 3500 users all using Office XP. We have a
desire to migrate from Outlook XP to Outlook 2003. We also have a
large number of Office XP MUI packs installed as well as the proofing
tools. Will I need to install all the Office 2003 MUI packs to
coincide with the Office XP MUI packs or will the Office XP MUI packs
be sufficient do to the fact that we are not updating Word?

While I can't answer your question, you are aware, aren't you, that updating
Outlook without also updating Word will break the integration between the
products and no one will be able to use Word as their mail editor or to
perform a Word Mail merge?

I was aware that Word Mail merge would no longer function as I had read
that, but I was unaware that you could no longer use Word as your email
editor.
