Hi,
I wanted to find out if there's an easy way to update a network printer for
our users?
I'm planning to change all my network printer names in my site and wanted to
send people a link to update their printers with an updated network printer
name.

I heard some companies they just send out a link to users to update their
printers without the hassles of going through steps (start/printer/add a
printer/etc.)....you know how confusing that is to users who arent technical
enough to follow basic procedures.... ;-)

Please let me know if there's an instruction out there somewhere that does
the trick? Thanks!

You may have many options. You can add printer group to your logon script if you use logon script. Or you can create a batch file and send it to the user to load printer automatically. This search result may help,

printing issues How to setup a default printer based on a network group How to setup a network printer for all users on NT/w2k/xp? How to delete a printing job that won't ...
