updates

I keep getting updates every 2 to 3 minutes. I would like to know why and how
do I stop it. I have my updates at once a day, but not every 3 minutes.
Please HELP!
 
Maybe you should find out which program is trying to update every few
minutes............

Updates to what, specifically?

The answer to that question will provide the largest clue as to how to stop
or control them.

Well I'm not sure what is updating specifically! I have looked into everything that I can. I think it might be something with me antivirus. I use PC-cillin antivirus 11, because it will do the update thing and then after so many times a box will come up and it says: Trend Micro: There is not enough available disk space for the download components. Please remove unnecessary files to create more space.(16)

I have tried. I think that is something to do with my antivirus. After it
does updates for a while it will bring up a box that says: Trend Micro: There
is not enough available disk space for the kownload components. Please remove
unnecessary files to create more space. (16) I use PC-cillin antivirus 11.
Also after the update is done my antivirus is shut off and then it comes back

Trend Micro and PC-cillin are 2 seperate Anti virus programs...it is
recommended that you run only one.
Check under Control Panel/Add&Remove to remove Trend Micro
