Dear experts,
I have noticed that MS updates installations on my PC.
KB900725, 901017, 873339, 904706, 905414, 905749, 900485, 908531, 910437,
911280, 911562, 911567, 20872, 921398, 922582, 922616, 922760, 922819,
923191, 923414, 885836, 923980, 924191, 924270, 928843
Do I need to keep them all or can I uninstall some of them?
I also asked numerous times about problems with opening the attachments
(doc. Extensions)
I tried to solve the problem by installing compability Pack for the 2007
Office system and Microsoft Office Word viewer 2003.But that did not help
towards solving the problem.
But I haven’t received a reply yet.
I have WinXP home edition version 2002.
Please may you help

No you don't want to uninstall any of the updates. What you can do, though,
is delete the uninstall files for these updates in C:\Windows. They are in
compressed folders (normally displayed in blue font in Windows Explorer)
with a name of $NtUninstallKBxxxxxx$. If these folders are deleted that
particular update cannot be uninstalled.

Note: Do not remove the $hf_mig$ folder. It's needed for future updates.

After the uninstall folders are removed you can then remove the reference to
each one in Add/Remove programs. Doug Knox has a utility to automate the
removal of these update uninstall folders and their entries in Add/Remove
programs.
