Updates that are downloaded from Micorsoft are creating
an alert message that says "Files that are required for
Windows to run properly have been replaced by
unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability,
Windows musst restore the original versions of these
files. Insert your Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1
CD now." Three buttons are on the message window: Retry,
More Information, Cancel. When I insert the OLperating
System that came with my computer (which has Windows XP
Home Edition on it), the message window goes away. When I
log off and log back on the message window returns and I
click the Retry button and the CD plays with the window
vanishing. It does not return until I log back off and
back on. Has anyone experienced this before? I sure could
use help in getting over this problem. Thanks; Dave
