Updater Application message

Everytime I turn on my computer I get a window with the
following error message: Updater Application - app.
name:wupdate.exe - Error Signature: Mod Ver 5.1
2600.1217 - App Ver:1.3.5.0 - Mod name:ntdll.dll

Error Report Contents: C:\DOCUME-1.TOS\LOCALS-1
\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

I send the report, but do not know what it means or how
to correct it.

Can you help?

You have spyware on your system. Remove spyware with Spybot Search &
Destroy from www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. These programs are free, so run them both since they complement
each other. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in
Safe Mode. Also be sure you have a current (post-2002 version using
updated definitions) antivirus installed.
