I performed a Windows XP update last night. Normally I
get the Welcome screen to pop up with the accounts I can
click on, but now I get a logon screen for Windows XP
requiring a username and password. I don't know what
that username or password since I don't even remember
setting one up. Any suggestions?

Manny,

Try typing the name of the account you normally click on as the Username,
and leave the password blank.

Once you've logged into the computer, follow the instructions on the website
listed below. The only change is to step 3 - you will be making sure that
there *IS* a checkmark, instead of removing it. You may also want to put a
checkmark next to Use Fast User Switching.

Good luck!
