I recently upgraded my windows operating system to XP for
the home. I am now getting an error message when I try
to use my Outlook e-mail. The error requires that I
install Mocrosoft Office XP Standard for Students and
Teachers. I don't have this, or if I do, I don't know
where it is (hard drive, disc?)

help!

What is the verbatim "error message"? Is this Outlook Express or Outlook? How do you bring up this program? Bring it up. simply go to its main menu bar, select Help>About ----write down its version number.

This type issue more properly belongs in a "general" group for your o.s.

This is a version of Office XP that is available at educational
institutions, usually at the bookstore, that is much less costly than the
Office XP retail version. I would suspect that the version is installed on
your system. If you want to restore it you need the disk and the key. If you
do not have the disk, then you must purchase a retail licensed version.
