The Windows 2000 Resource Kit includes PULIST.EXE, which displays the current process table, including owners for each process. I just discovered that this version is incompatible with Windows XP Professional.
I've installed both the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools and the Admin Pak and neither contain an updated version of PULIST.EXE. The MS website says that the full Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit (not just the "Tools" subset) is "not available yet"; and as far as I can tell, there will be no Windows XP Resource Kit (although Documentation is available).
Does anyone know the release status of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit? Can anyone confirm that it will definitely contain an updated PULIST.EXE? Or is there an unadvertised hotfix available to solve this problem? I'd rather not spend money on MS phone support to find out there's no fix...
Thanks in advance. (Peter)
