Since downloading XP-Update, it says that my computer is not protected, but I
have Panda running. When I check that it running, Panda says that my
computer is protected. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it???
Please help.

Some antivirus manufacturers have not made the necessary updates so
they can be monitored by the Security Center in windows XP.
Contact Panda and see if there is an update.

Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Security Center.
Set as desired if you do not want monitoring of your anti virus
application.
This does not affect functionality of your AV program, it is
monitoring only.

Hello,

two things:

a) MS Security Center is not working properly with ALL AV programs - but
i don´t know if 'Panda' is supported or not.

b) how it works for me: i´m using AntiVir PE - and i have to do an update
for AV ervery seven days (it´s a setting in my AntiVir PE program - it is
possible to change it) or the securitycenter warns me. After updating i have
to call the update once again and after getting the message that all my files
are the newest the securitycenter stops warning me.

Perhaps it is for you AV program the same or it is not supported by the
security center...

hops it helps you

kind regards

Dirk
