This is for anyone who has UPH Clean installed on their machine. After the
last security updates UPH appeared to stop working.I uninstalled and
re-installed the program and everything appears to be fine.It may be a
co-incidence,and I have e-mailed Windows Update Support about it,but I just
wanted to alert UPH users about it.

Mike,
Not familiar with the acronym UPH. What is it? and who is the publisher / manufacturer?

User Profile Clean. It closes handles that profiles logging off don't (and thus allowing logoff to work). Microsoft Corp, 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond - some small Seattle company (too small for the NYSE) that sells Unix and programming tools. I heard a rumour they are about to release a CP/M clone for these new 16 bit processors.

Hello Mike
Thanks for the advanced warning - was about to do the latest 5 (908531,
911562, 912812, 911565, 911567) so took particular note after reading your
post.
All went on OK and UPH doesn't seem to be upset.

That's right. Do you think Gary Kildall thinks about his goof, all those years ago, in not meeting IBM and missing the opportunity ?

I believe that is an urban legand (he was away flying). I can't remember the real story. They weren't a real success story after that.
