Hi,

Just built new pc and did not bother installing floppy drive - never
used. How can i update bios - I've changed bootup sequence to look at
DVD drive 1st. Or do i have to install floppy?

Hi,

You need asusUpdate under windows, download the bios, and then, flash with
asusupdate using the bios file.
CD update only works when the bios is corrupted and is asking the asus cd to
reflash a good one.

The floppy is the safest way to flash the bios. There are a couple of other
ways that are sometimes successful but if you fail big time then there is
always www.badflash.com.
Most of us rarely use a floppy drive these days but the thing is that when
you need one, you really need one.
