Update and "Administrators only"

Is the Secuirty Accounts Manager Service running? If it is
then it sounds to me like there is a issue with the Group
Policy//local Policy Settings. Also I did run across some
knowledge base articles that implied problems with
installing SP1 @ Msdn.microsoft.com

Microsoft to bring it up to SP1 state. I then logged onto
the internet and tried to finish the critical updates using
the windows update function. I keep getting a message that
this is for Administrators only but I am using the admin
account. Is there something that I am missing here?

very informative. The problem isn't solved but at least I
have now eliminated some major possibilities. Thanks
