i Just got done downloading RC1 32-bit version and when i use win-rar to
extract the file all there is is a read me that is 135 bites, wheres the
bulk of the file?

Do NOT use WinRAR to extract the file. WinRAR cannot read it. The file is
an ISO file, which needs burning to DVD. Use the 'burn image' function in
your burning program. The iso can also be mounted in Daemon Tools.

i dont have deamon tools, the only programs ive ever used to burn dvd's are
dvd shrink and nero, will nay of these work?

does it not have to be extracted at all first?

No, it does not need extracting. It is a full iso image. To burn with
Nero, use StartSmart, Copy and Backup tab, then select Burn DVD Image. Or
by using the full Nero Burning ROM, close any wizards, then on the Recorder
tab, select Burn Image. Nero will write the image direct to DVD. Burn at
the lowest speed possible, and finalize the disc.

I hope Richard Urban reads this thread. He just tried to tell me it was
virtually impossible for this to occur!

I wonder how this happened?

If anyone uses WinRAR to 'open' the Vista DVD, then all they will see is the
readme text file. They will NOT see the full contents of the .iso, as
WinRAR cannot handle the UDF file system.
