Unwanted toolbar

Upgrading to IE6 I have acquired a toolbar. In the toolbar
lists it is named: "iecrfrflytr". It seems to provide
access to 'Search the Web'.
I would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of it.
I do not want this toolbar, but when I uncheck it and re-
boot the PC, it re-asserts itself on my browser page.
There are actually three instances of it in my list of
available toolbars.
Also, I keep getting a dialogue box offering me the chance
to 'gamble online' I don't want to keep seeing this
either, but am unable to stop it happening.
Any help to the above email address would be gratefully
received.

I have had this same problem, and if you look back

through the posts, you'll probably find many from other
users who've also had similar problems, plus various posts
about the fact that it's due to spyware and how to get rid
of it, et c. One thing that I found, though, is that many
of the websites that install toolbars onto your browser
have options on their website to uninstall any unwanted
toolbars, so you might try visiting the website where the
toolbar originated first.

Go to spywareinfo.com and read on hijacked browsers.
Install the tool and remove, very simple and effective.
