Unwanted Sytstem32 winndow on boot up

New Dell 8300 PC running XP Pro.

Since adding applications, whenever I boot up (or
restart) and choose my profile I very soon get a System32
window (stating do not modify etc). I have to press X
each time to close it.

Can anyone please help with how I can safely stop the
System32 window appearing in the first place?
