unwanted reminder pop-ups

I just finished using the Oversized PST Crop Tool and
Inbox Repair Tool to fix my PST file. Fortunately, I
didn't lose anything vital in the process and have
imported everything recovered into a new PST file, but now
everytime I start Outlook, several dozen reminder windows
pop up, regardless of whether the messages are flagged for
follow up. I have tried dismissing them and opening each
one and clearing the flag, but they still keep popping up.
Nothing short of deleting the message stops it.

I use the reminder feature extensively, so turning it off
is not an option

Anybody know how to correct this?

Thanks

Didn't work.

Thinking I might have messed something up, I started from
scratch, using the oversized pst and inbox repair tools as
before, but the result is the same: bringing the messages
into my new Inbox from any of the recovered folders
in "Lost and Found" causes enough pop-up windows to appear
that I get a message saying that no more can be displayed
(some for messages that I know were never flagged).

My "second best" solution has been to place these messages
in a subfolder, and while I can live with this, still
wonder if there isn't way to fix it - I can't find any
documentation on this problem.

Hmm -- you might also want to try the /CleanFreeBusy switch. I think I've
seen that posted as a possible solution to this issue also. Then again, I
could just be out of brain cells at this time of night. :-) (But I don't
think it would do any harm to run it, even if it doesn't fix the problem.)
