unwanted program at startup

coacheat

roxio disk detector opens up each time I start the
computer. I have to close it before I do anything else.
How can this be prevented?

Is it the Drag-to-Disc? If so, have a look in msconfig>startup for a reference to

C:\Program Files\Roxio\Easy CD Creator 6\DragToDisc\DrgToDsc.exe

and uncheck it. Then reboot your system.
 
That stops it, but I'd like to get the program right out
of the startup file

Hi

Look for any other references to C:\Program Files\Roxio in msconfig>startup and uncheck those. Also have a look for any reference to:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\System\EngUtil.exe

They are the only references to Roxio that I have here in msconfig>startup. If any other part of Roxio shows at startup, please post back.
