unwanted desktop shortcuts

when I start my computer I get some shortcuts that show
up on the desktop and I don't know where they come from
or how to stop them from loading. Where does the command
to load the desktop shortcuts come from?

Try right clicking on any open area of your desktop - you
should get a dialogue box. Under "Arrange Icons By" you
should see "Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard". Try using
that...it's fairly customizable.

Do u recognize these short cuts as familiar applications that you are using or do u see that they are pointing to strange programs that you never installed.
 
Could be the Adtomi adware. Are you finding evidence of
any folder in recent documnets that are 7 digit numbers
and letters? If so run one of the spyware removers to
clean..... will have mega errors in the registry.
Spyhunter did an excellent job for me.
