unwanted background programs

I was wondering if any of these programs shouldn't be
running or are harmful to my computer.
msiexec.exe
smss.exe
csrss.exe
lsass.exe
spoolsv.exe
defwatch.exe <---?
rtvscan.exe <---?
OSE.exe <---?
--------------------
9600 All-in-wonder
SoundBlaster live 2.1
--------------------
Also, my computer has been having problems logging on to
the domain and it is only my account that comes up with
the "windows can not update your profile because there is
insufficent hard disk space" at login. I can login as
someone else without the error. Is this an error with my
computer or the server that I'm tying to login to?

Thanks, TJS

Here's an idea you might try: Look for information about those programs on
the Internet. For example, search for msiexec.exe using Google. I'm pretty
sure you'll come up with plenty of good information.

For problems logging on to your domain, contact your system administrator.

If your computer is running well, you are not getting problems with hijacked
browsers, your anti-virus program is fully updated, Windows is fully
updated, and your firewall is doing its job, why worry about what is running
in the background?.. bear in mind that, depending upon what the user has
installed, all computers will have differing selection of programs running
in the background.. if it ain't broke, don't fix it..
