Unwanted auto delete

I have a client with a user running OL2000 with an exchange acct. With
outlook open to in box user will open an message and the message instantly
vaporizes to nowhere not even to appear in the deleted items folder. This
behavior happens on every workstation the user loges on to and this is the
only user with this problem. I can find no KB info on this problem. Has any
one else experienced this or does any one have a solution?

There are a few possibilities. Most likely they have a filter set up that
only shows unread messages. Check to see what their view is.

Another possibility is that they have a rule set up that moves the
messages to another folder.
