Unsafe Attachments Outlook 2000 Sp3

Hi I can't seem to recieve URL address when sent by
friends outlook says it removed unsafe attachments. I
also have Norton Anti Virus but I could recieve these
attachments while using outlook express. Can anyone help.

attachments (scrips and executables) in a compressed format. To unblock you
can edit the registry;

Robert,

Would this be the same case for trying to send a url. Everytime I try to
send a url by way of Internet Explorer..."Send Link" Outlook will not send
it. I miss my OE days when I could do that.

Outlook will send the URL but it blocks access to it for you. If the
receiver is also working with an up to date Outlook it will be blocked as
well. Better is to use the following utility to send your links with;
http://www.cdolive.net/download/ieutilities-mailto_url.zip

Thank you. At least I know it is only blocking it on my side ...I send links
to my hubby and he likes web-base email so I am happy to hear he is getting
links. I will check out your suggestion. Thanks again. Thankfully, I don't
think to many I email to use outlook.
