I was reparing my Windows XP Home and at 13 min to
complete the installation I got the following error " The
procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located on the
dynamic library link MSDART.DLL". The installation stop at
this point and then resume 15-20 after by itself. After
this I was able to startup OK but have few error when
executing task on my system. Any reccomendation before
Ihave to go through a fresh installation?

When the problem occurs, press: Shift + F10 to bring up the
Command Prompt. Then type: Taskmgr.exe in the DOS window
and press Enter. The Task Manager should be started. If
not, try to press: C + Shift + ESC. In the Task Manager
program, select the error messsage window in the
application list and click "End Task". In the Process
List, terminate the Unregmp2.exe program. Exit the DOS
prompt window and resume the installation process.

Carey:

Since the installation resume itself after 15-20 min and
apparently was completed. Do you reccommend me to redo the
repair installation and when the error happen to execute
the steps you indicated below?

After the Win XP repair, I have been getting error when
trying to execute task suck as creating My Connection for
internet.
