There may be a loss of data. Look at subsequent Chkdsk messages for more
information and decide if the missing data is important enough to be
restored from backup.
It COULD be bad sectors - ie: bad hardware - replace the hard drive if under
warranty after backing up your data.
However, it could be something wrong with the NTFS File System - although if
there is something wrong with the hard drive, you will find it with NTFS
before you find it with FAT32. You could try converting it to FAT32 with
something like Partition Magic and then back again.. If it repeats the
problem, you have bad hardware.
