Gregory

hi,
It happened twice in last two months,
suddenly a blue screen with that title UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
no options worked: safe mode, last known good configuration etc.
the only option was to format drive C, ( Maxtor 20G), last time I checked the
drive with Maxblast 4.06, if found couple errors, but this time it found nothing
Any idea what is all about?
thanks
Gregory

XP is not compatible with hard drive overlays like Maxblast 4.06.

What Maxblast 4.06 does is fool the OS into thinking it has a large hard
drive

Please uninstall Maxblast 4.06, and format and reload XP with NO Maxblast
4.06

If your motherboard cannot see the whole hard drive without Maxblast 4.06,
update your motherbaord bios if you can, or get a whole new system.

Thanks

.This had happened to me, shortly after I bought XP
Home, and, after a series of phone calls, Hewlet Packard
sent me a disc that THEY had formulated to fix the
problem, Microsoft at that point, could not fix the
problem, unfortunately, it's a hardware problem, good luck

Di,
so They sent you a disk - did it solve the problem? do you know what was wrong?
before I check all cables inside my computer I want to know what is wrong.
Can you send this disk via the internet to me?
Gregory

Gregory;
Choose Windows XP.
If you have multiple installations of Windows XP, choose the one that
you normally use.
