I want my database to be accessed by other people.

Since creating my database I have not accessed anything that has told me my
database is locked to other users, how do I now rectify this and have it
accessible to other users?

Arrrghhhh!!!!

To add - I have gone through options and tools to find my defualt settigns
and they are set at shared and unlocked.

What exactly is the symptom of the problem?

If you copied the database to their hard drive using a CD, odds are that the
Read-only property is still set for the file (by definition, CD-ROMs are
read-only, so that property gets set when writing to the CD) Find the file
in Windows Explorer, right-click on it, choose Properties from the context
menu and uncheck the read-only check box.

I have worked out why the other user could not access the database. I thought
that because I had not "locked" it, that the two of us could access it at the
same time.
However, even though now both of us can be in the database at the sametime,
will we experience problems in inputting and saving data?

You should split your database and give each user their own front end. More

Thanks for that link. I really just needed confirmation that I couldn't do
it, to be honest I don't think it warrants splitting the database as it will
not be in that great enough of demand. Thank you for your help!!
