Unlock a scrubbed document

I need to unlock a document I scrubbed and am not sure how to do it. It did
not ask me for a password when I scrubbed it, but now cannot unscrub it to
make edits changes to the document

Hi Beth. I scrubbed it using MS Word. It did not ask me for a password when I
scrubbed it, but I cannot edit it.

I'm sorry, I wasn't precise enough in my previous reply. Please let me try
again. What command did you use to "scrub" the document? IOW, what exactly
did you click? Also, did the document have a password before you 'scrubbed'
it?

I think you are referring to Word 2007 and the Document Inspector??

What the previous responders are trying to ask is, What do you mean by
"scrubbed"?
