I get messages from www.windowpatch.net prompting me to download an update
for Windows Messaging Service. Is this a valid Microsoft/Windows website?

Hi Will,

Thanks for the suggestions. Checked with Spybot, CWShredder and Ad-Aware,
but nothing found. I downloaded and installed PC-cillin Internet Security 12
(evaluation copy) which reported WORM_WOOTBOT.AN and, I suppose, removed it.
But now, I have a new problem. Every time I start the system (Win XP Home
Edition), I see an error message at the beginning "Invalid
boot.ini......Loading from C:\Windows...." or something like that. What could
be the problem?
