I periodically receive a message. That message being
as follows: Microsoft Internet Explorer;
Cannot find 'file:///C:/bns/new/B_713400.htm'. Make sure
the path or Internet address is correct.
I have attempted to change Explorer to stop this, but
it still continues. Explorer, after clicking the "X" or
the "OK" will bring up my explorer home page, with out
any means of correcting this problem. There is not
appearent site that may assist. I am unaware how to
correct this, assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You very much!

There have been a few other posts about this in the newsgroup lately. In
all cases, I've answered with the following: What does a scan with a
current antivirus program (meaning a version not earlier than 2002 and
using updated virus definitions) show? Also, remove spyware with Spybot
Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe
Mode.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any answers back from the original posters
to say what the resolution of the problem was. So, start with the
troubleshooting for viruses and spyware as described above.

Cheers,

Malke
