Unknown folders on C:

I have a couple folders on the root of C: that are like
4f90a5213ae3c64bcdc8eacee0628219 and 727d22b9c01d33ac73edfa
does anyone know what this are for, why they are there and can I delete them?
 
They are folders created by microsoft install files (updates and other
programs). They are used to store the log of the install. It is perfectly
fine to delete them if the install had no problems. Good Luck,
