Unknown files in my XP

Hello,
I have problem with windows folder in C:/windows/, I have there files named
F, I, L, E, Y, S. All are created at the same time and they have same size
675 MB. Can someone tell me, for what are these files and do I need them?
They were created after app. 1 year after I bought my notebook.

They are not native Windows files. If you want to play it safe, do this:
1. Create the folder c:\Rubbish.
2. Move the files into this folder.
3. Wait two weeks.
4. If all is well, delete them.
5. Delete them from the Recycle bin.
