Greetings,

Read the following website which explains
on how to remove spyware:

http://users.onvol.net/118226-2/xpez/articles/remove_spyware.html

"Try these programs to check for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Also see the following links:

http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
http://www.microsoft.com/security/articles/spyware.asp"

Thanks and best of luck!

I am running windows xp home. I have noticed a new file in the system and worried as to where it is from! - and what is it for!

Title; Crypkey Server V4.3 for NT
File Name; C\windows\CK Config.exe
Description; CKCONFIG MFC Application - (Version: 1.00.00.01)

Total Bytes; 910,213,917.

Can it be deleted! - Is it Spyware! - What is it and is it unsafe!

Thanks all. - (e-mail address removed) (Please mail replies tome)

It does help to knpw where it came from, However-Can I get rid of it? - Is it part of the Microsoft upgrades system? - Will it's removal prevent windows xp from working as it should? - Finally, it doesn't show anywhere except in my prog's folder list... so how do I delete it? Thanks all.

This exe file is part of a program that you have installed on your system.
It is there to help stop making illegal copies of the software in question.
I am not sure if deleting it is what you want since that action might cause
the program it is associated with not to run. Back it up and delete it and
see what happens.
