I'm shopping for auto responder software and the system
requirements are:
Unix Operating system (linux/FreeBSD)
Perl5 Interpreter (standard on unix machines)

Will this work with my Windows XP???
Any info will be much appreciated.

If the software requirement call for Unix/Linux, then you would need to
install a version of Linux on a separate drive. Perl is a standard install
for Linux. If the software is actually programmed completely in Perl, there
is a Perl add on for windows, but I have not used that in an XP environment.

I would highly recommend going the Linux/Perl route even if it requires
taking some time to learn Linux.

Jeff: Thanks for the advise. Love the "failure thing"---
it does seem some days that it's a way of life!!!
