unique page material in shared borders

I would like to have a short phrase display in a shared border that differs for and is unique to each page. Is there any way to do this.

if you title each page in navigation view, and name each page what you want
the page to "say" and in the shared border insert a "page banner" that would
be something different on each page but works from a shared border.

Yes, but not easy
Shared border content is always the same for all pages it is applied to
But if you have a document write JavaScript w/i the body tags of the shared border page that generates some page content (client
side) based on a "key" to say your file name or a script in the head section of each page you can have the browser render unique
text on each page
